Our Easy Folded Poncho is a relaxing knit and comfy wrap that's flattering on every body. And it looks and feels terrific in Berroco . A gorgeous blend of silky alpaca and warm, resilient Peruvian Highland wool, it produces a fabric with a gorgeous drape. The alpaca drinks up dye for super-saturated colors, including solids and complex heathered shades.

To knit our original design in this slightly heavier yarn and still preserve a marvelous drape, we gauged it up and changed the stitch count. Just see our free adaptation for details.

FINISHED SIZE
22 x 50"/56 x 127cm, before folding.

YARN
4 skeins (215 yds/198m each).
Cowl neck (optional): May require 1 additional skein.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 8 (5mm) 24–32" circular needle, or size to obtain gauge.
US 10 (6mm) 24–32" circular needle, or two sizes larger than gauge needle for binding off.
Size H (5mm) or larger crochet hook for provisional cast-on.
Blocking wires.

GAUGE
18 sts/27 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch, wet-blocked and steam pressed.
